AWARDS: | Won the Daily Times of Nigeria Award in 1972 as the best graduating student in the department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos. The Award was two-week facility tour of the United Kingdom.Won Daily Times of Nigeria Best Columnist of the Week Award twice in one year as a guest writer on international affairs.
Selected to represent Nigeria at the Commonwealth Institute Fellowship in 1984 (One month tour of various Commonwealth and other institutions in the United Kingdom). Won several Awards for mutual and peaceful industrial relations from the Radio, Television, Theatre Arts Workers Union, RATTAWU in FRCN, Lagos, FRCN, Ibadan and the Lagos State Chapters of the Union. Got a plaque of APPRECIATION from the University of Lagos for the role played by me towards the establishment of the University’s radio station—UNILAG FM. |

HOBBIES: | Going to the gym; reading; browsing the internet; using gadgets; listening to music; and travelling—I have toured 34 out of the 36 states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria mainly in the course of duty and had visited the United States of America, Britain, France, Bulgaria, Romania, India, China, Ethiopia, Libya, Egypt, Kenya, Angola, Zimbabwe, Bostwana and South Africa among others also in the course of duty. |
