The Federal Government has ordered the closure of schools to stem any potential spread of COVID-19. They are mandated to close effective March 29th. In the meantime, they are encouraged to fast track their examinations and enforce sanitary practices.

The West African Examination Council launched a press release postponing the WASSCE exams indefinitely, citing concerns raised by the populace and the implication of conducting the examination.
